Valerian & Co can calm pets affected by stressful situations or noise phobias. It consists of Vervain & Mistletoe and Valerian. They act as nervines, which relax the nervous system and reduce anxiety without adversely affecting muscles. Even cats like this combination of herbs and reducing stress can help with unwanted behaviour like urine spraying. We also use it to help with high blood pressure.
Herbs should never substitute training, desensitisation and good management of the environment and situations. But, especially when other efforts are in place, they can be a big help.
