Gold Bead Implants on a Greater Swiss Mountain dog back in Germany this summer.
Can you spot the problem? (see video below) This is the 6 year old Greater Swiss Mountain dog Iris is going to do Gold Bead Implants on while in Germany. Hip dysplasia affects the way she moves, despite her being on painkillers. But as you can tell, she wants to lead an active life.
She currently needs a high dose of painkillers every day. The recommendation after gold bead implants is to reduce or stop the painkillers 7 days after the procedure.
Her x-ray shows arthritis caused by hip dysplasia.

The Gold Bead Procedure is scheduled for end of July. We hope to be able to take some pictures on the day and give you updates on recovery and outcome.
