About the river Wye
The iconic river Wye, said to be the birth place of tourism, stretches for 155 miles and is deemed one of the most important rivers in Europe for nature conservation. It has two designated Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI, Upper and Lower Wye), is also a Special Area of Conservation (SAC) and passes through the Wye Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).
Iris and Family had the pleasure of representing the Dung Beatle in the parade, with the older generation at the back and the younger generation leading the way.

The dung beetle is likely to suffer from certain practices in the veterinary industry. Please have a look at: Collateral damage from pet drugs – AP Vet Ltd (ap-vet.co.uk)
